City of Los Angeles , Los Angeles Superior Court Case No. 23STCP02601. (This matter arises from an alleged failure by several offices and departments in the City to timely produce documents in response to eleven, multipart requests for records under the California Public Records Act.)
11. 11 The Committee may recess to Closed Session, pursuant to Government Code Section No. 54956.9(d)(1), to confer with its legal counsel relative to the case entitled West 43rd Place, LLC v. City of Los Angeles, et al. , Los Angeles Superior Court Case No. 20STCV23614. (This case involves the cutting of a gas line that served the plaintiff's commercial property.)
12. 12 The Committee may recess to Closed Session, pursuant to Government Code Section No. 54956.9(d)(1), to confer with its legal counsel relative to the case entitled Bird Global, Inc., et al. v. City of Los Angeles, et al. , United States Bankruptcy Court Southern District of Florida Miami Division Case No. 23-20514-CLC. (This matter arises from the bankruptcy of a dockless scooter company and the liabilities associated with operation of the scooters on City of Los Angeles streets.)
