- 2 The City Council Closed Session meeting of April 22, 2025, was called to order by Mayor Bregman at 6:05 p.m. Present: Council Member Craig Hensley, Council Member Nakanishi, and Mayor Bregman Absent: Council Member Hothi and Mayor Pro Tempore Yepez Also Present: Acting City Manager Jaromay, City Attorney Lucchesi, and City Clerk Nashed

- 6 Following the announcement of Closed Session items, City Clerk Nashed provided public comment guidelines. John Slaughterback, a member of the public, spoke regarding credit card abuse, his perception that some Council Members are already thinking of replacing Mr. Carney before the investigation is finished, and his concerns that the City will be sued for wrongful termination. At 6:11 p.m., Mayor Bregman adjourned the meeting to a Closed Session to discuss the above matters. The Closed Session adjourned at 8:51 p.m.

- 8 At 8:51 p.m., Mayor Bregman reconvened the City Council meeting and reported that Council has unanimously voted to move forward with hiring one of the interviewed applicants for the position of Acting City Manager.
- 10 There being no further business to come before the City Council, the meeting was adjourned at 8:51 p.m.
