8. 8 The City welcomes public comments on agendized or non-agendized items, however, please note that the Community & Library Services Commission can take no action on this date, unless the item is agendized. Each speaker may have up to 3 minutes unless the volume of speakers warrants reducing the time allowance and cannot donate time to others. Individuals wishing to speak may do so in one of two (2) ways: 1) In-Person: Fill out a Request to Speak form and deliver it to the Staff Liaison. Once the Chair opens Public Comments, in -person participants will be called to speak in the order in which they are received; 2) In Writing: Submit written comments via email to cgomez@surfcity-hb.org by 1:00 PM on the day of the meeting. All written communications will be forwarded to the Community & Library Services Commission and recorded as supplemental communication.

12. 12 Re-establish the Commission’s Special Interest Committee for the purpose of working with staff to develop an Adopt-A-Park program. RECOMMENDED ACTION: Staff is requesting the re-establishment of the Commission’s Special Interest Committee and the assignment of three (3) Commissioners, who will work with staff on the development of an Adopt-A-Park program. 25-281
13. 13 Establish the Parks & Recreation Master Plan Project Liaisons RECOMMENDED ACTION: Establish a working liaison group consisting of three (3) Commissioners to assist staff with review of the Parks & Recreation Master Plan update prepared by RJM Design Group and assign the interested Commissioners accordingly. 25-282
