- 18 JOINT CONSENT CALENDAR
- 1. Recommended Action: It is recommended that the City Council approve the Draft Minutes from the Special Meeting held Tuesday, May 7, 2024.
- 2. Recommended Action: It is recommended that the Council/Board ratify the warrant run and payroll report for the City, Successor Agency to the Hesperia Community Redevelopment Agency, Hesperia Housing Authority, Community Development Commission, and Water District.
- 3. Recommended Action: It is recommended that the Council/Board accept the Treasurer’s Cash Report for the City, Successor Agency to the Hesperia Community Redevelopment Agency, Hesperia Housing Authority, Community Development Commission, and Water District.
- 4. Recommended Action: It is recommended that the City Council and Board of Directors of the Hesperia Water District authorize the City Manager to approve a five-year agreement with Brink’s, Inc. for Armored Car Transportation Services in the not-to-exceed amount of $135,000.
- 5. Recommended Action: It is recommended that the Board of Directors of the Hesperia Water District authorize the City Manager to approve a contract for Fiscal Year (FY) 2024-25 with Ferguson Waterworks in the not-to-exceed amount of $200,000, for the purchase of DFW meter boxes and lids.
- 6. Recommended Action: It is recommended that the City Council and Board Members of the Hesperia Water District authorize the City Manager to enter into a one (1) year agreement with D&H Water Systems, Inc. in a not-to-exceed amount of $73,000 for the purchase of Constant Chlor Plus Briquettes.
- 7. Recommended Action: It is recommended that the City Council authorize the City Manager to approve the procurement of one (1) new 2024 Chevy Silverado 2500HD 4 X 4 utility truck for the Traffic Program and enter into an agreement with Victorville Chevrolet for the not-to-exceed amount of $72,000.
- 8. Recommended Action: It is recommended that the City Council adopt Resolution No. 2024-20 approving Parcel Map No. 20257 to rearrange the four existing parcels into four new parcels on 194.8 gross acres of land designated Commercial/Industrial Business Park (CIBP) within the Main Street and Freeway Corridor Specific Plan located on the north side of Phelan Road, west of Highway 395, south of Yucca Terrace Drive, and east of the power line utility corridor (Applicant: Covington Group; APN's: 3064-351-03, 3064-361-01, 3064-401-02).
- 9. Recommended Action: It is recommended that the City Council adopt Resolution No. 2024-017: (i) approving the “Agreement For The Purchase And Sale Of Real Property And Joint Escrow Instructions” (Agreement) by and between Desert Wind LLC (Seller) and the City of Hesperia (Buyer) for the purchase of APN 0405-272-09 for $525,000; and (ii) authorizing the City Manager to execute all documents necessary to consummate the transaction.
- 10. Recommended Action: It is recommended that the City Council adopt Resolution No. 2024-18 accepting the public improvement for the extension of the Recycled Water main line in I Avenue. (Applicant: Silverwood Development Phase I, LLC).
- 11. Recommended Action: It is recommended that the City Council approve Resolution No. 2024-19 approving the Fiscal Year 2024-25 Project List to be funded by SB-1: The Road Repair and Accountability Act.
- 30 NEW BUSINESS
- 12. Recommended Action: It is recommended that the City Council award a contract for the Fiscal Year (FY) 2021-2022 CDBG Street Improvement - (C.O. 7166) project to the lowest responsive/responsible bidder, VSS International, Inc. for the bid amount of $2,966,340; approve an additional 10% contingency in the amount of $296,634, for a total construction budget of $3,262,974; approve the design of the project represented by the plans and specifications; and authorize the City Manager to execute the contract.
- 13. Recommended Action: It is recommended that the City Council/Board receive and file this staff report, which provides information about the current status of the City of Hesperia’s proposed operating budget for Fiscal Year (FY) 2024-25.
