Approve and authorize the Chairman to execute a second amendment to License Agreement D-21-021, between the Sheriff’s Office and the Sheriff’s Foundation for Public Safety, for the Sheriff’s Office’s use of the shooting range and training facilities, located at 7633 North Weber Avenue, in Fresno, shortening the term to ninety-two (92) days from October 10, 2023 through January 10, 2024 with no change to compensation maximum of $657,600 with the following: (1) Shorten the term of the License Agreement to expire in ninety-two (92) days on January 10, 2024, as the Sheriff’s Foundation’s general liability policy will expire on October 10, 2023, and will not be renewed; (2) Remove the Foundation’s requirement of indemnification of the County under the License Agreement; and (3) Allow time for the Sheriff’s Office and Foundation to negotiate a new agreement subject to Board approval, to begin upon termination of the License Agreement
