Conduct first hearing on an Ordinance calling for a special election to be held on March 5, 2024, for the purpose of submitting to the voters of the County a measure to amend Section 15 of the Fresno County Charter related to the election date and term of office of the County’s elective officers, and directing the consolidation of the special election with the Statewide Primary Election to be held on the same day; waive reading of the proposed Ordinance in its entirety; and set the second hearing for November 7, 2023; Designate County Counsel to prepare a fair and adequate summary of the proposed Ordinance; and Direct the Clerk of the Board to post and publish the required summary in accordance with Government Code Section 25124(b)(1)
