10. 10 REPORTS: Judge's Comments (5 minutes) - Not in attendance Juvenile Treatment Center Assistant Deputy Probation Officer (5 minutes) Just finished up the 3 day BSCC Inspection at the JTC - Title 15 compliance and will have an unannounced visit in the Fall. Everything went well and not major issues. Re-painting A/B Pod starting April 28th Body scanner now in intake Chief Probation Officer (10 minutes) Mentioned that at the March 11th and April 8th BOS meetings it was mentioned the BOS is exploring options of closing the JTC and looking to contract with surrounding counties. Shared the 2025 Grand Jury Report - Very positive feedback on the JTC in South Lake Tahoe Treasurer's Report (5 minutes) - Not in attendance Leadership Team (10 minutes) - Nothing new to report on

12. 12 Prevention and Intervention Programs in South Lake Tahoe: What are the top 3 issues leading to detention the Commission should focus on? 1) Mental Health 2) Family Services 3) Shelters/Respit Care - in home Recommendations of programs in South Lake Tahoe to support. COPE on West Slope and Amy Jackson/Mt. Tallac in SLT. Guerrero - full disclosure that he volunteers with Encompass Youth and works with CASA and wanted to make sure there was no special considerations made or some type of conflict of interest due to this. Noted that they are good organizations but support is at the discretion of the commission as a whole.
