1. 1 PUBLIC PARTICIPATION INSTRUCTIONS: The meeting will be open to the public. The meeting will also be live-streamed via Zoom. 9. 10 REPORTS •Judge's Comments - Not in attendance •Interim Chief Probation Officer - Not in attendance •Juvenile Treatment Center Acting Deputy Chief Probation Officer - ADCPO Beth Borovich in attendance: Noted that the BSCC field inspection of the JTC is scheduled for March 2026 specific to 7 items pertaining to Title 15. Currently there are 4 DPO vacancies at the JTC and 2 PA vacancies Currently 10 in custody – 9Male 1Female 1SYTF from Yolo County 4 in program 3 Foster Care – waiting placement (can’t return home) 3DSPO hearing 1 Challenge from Marin Co. (Noted last one we had from Marin recently graduated) Booking: 3 (2 SLT 1WS – 2 detained and 1 released) 5 Youth with IEPs New Securitas system installed and operational. Completed in December. Encompass Youth has been active in the JTC and events/activities during the Holidays. 4 new Full time DPOs at JTC – additional training •Treasurer's Report Hurley provided copies of three versions of the El Dorado Community Foundation Statement. Doesn’t see in either statement where funds were transferred to the Dunlap Fund (2022) and sent an email to the Foundation for clarification. Discussion around clarification in the consolidation of this. Request made by Guerrero of the Commission – name ideas for the Dunlap Fund – Commission members email up to 2 names suggestions for consideration. •Leadership Team Application for Funds – discussion if a disclaimer should be added pertaining to confidentiality and sharing information as well as clarification in the language of the application. Guerrero and Oates will update this document for final review a the next meeting. Oates working on posting online for digital submission option for the commission. Commission members reviewing Bylaws and procedures for discussion at next meeting. • Outreach & Education Guerrero asked and Commission agreed to have either PD, DA, or Probation give a brief over of the Juvenile Justice Court process/overview to the commission to better understand the process. Monterosso offered to have a rep from the PD give an overview at an upcoming meeting. She will reach out to one of the Public Defenders to check their availability • Status of new members and recruitment Guerrero noted: He reached out to Sherleen Hernandez (retired from CASA) for interest in joining the commission. Set additional information and Bylaws to her for review and consideration. He also reached out to a gentleman who worked with the Tahoe Youth and Family Services – leading Advisory Board for consideration joining the JJDPC Commission – he recently moved to Orange County to attend UC Irvine. Guerrero would like to connect with him again to see if he would have a recommendation/referral for the commission to get a youth perspective. The JJDPC would also like to reach out to Amy Pooley with the El Dorado Community Foundation for a recommendation to the JJDPC Commission – Monterosso offered to connect with her.

13. 3. Continue discussion around potential support from JJDPC for assistance with hotel accommodation in South Lake Tahoe region for families visiting youth at the JTC. At the December 2025 JJDPC meeting Hotel Asure was a potential option for consideration as well as other suggestions. Move this item for discussion at the February meeting
