1. 1 Recommendation : It is recommended that Council approve the Bills and Claims for May 2026 in the amount of $2,195,414
2. 2 Recommendation : It is recommended Council approve minutes for May 20, June 3, June 4, 2026 Council Meetings.
3. 3 Recommendation : Staff recommends that the City Council adopt amendments to the Urban County Cooperative Agreement with non-entitlement cities for participation in the county's housing and community development programs .
4. 4 AWARD OF CONTRACT FOR ­ ­ ­ ­ THE STREETLIGHT POLE PAINTING PROJECT
5. 5 Recommendation : Staff recommends that the City Council take public comment and adopt a resolution to amend the Atherton General Plan to implement updates to the Community Safety Element, Open Space and Conservation Element, and Circulation Element; and direct staff to file a Notice of Exemption with the San Mateo County Clerk and to forward the adopted Community Safety Element to the California Office of Emergency Services and other required State agencies.
6. 6 Recommendation : It is recommended that the Council hold a public hearing to allow staff to provide a presentation on the Town of Atherton vacancies, and recruitment and retention efforts pursuant to Government Code Section 3502.3, and to allow recognized employee bargaining units to do the same.
7. 7 Recommendation : Adopt the accompanying Resolutions (adoption of all Resolutions may be done by one motion):
8. 8 Recommendation : It is recommended that the Council review the applicants for the Town Committees and Planning Commission and make appointments to fill vacant positions:
9. 9 Recommendation : Appoint applicant Allan Martin to the San Mateo County Mosquito & Vector Control District to fill the remaining unexpired term for Mason Brutschy, ending December 13, 2027.
10. 10 Recommendation : Staff recommends the City Council review the results of the Parking Study for Town Center/Library Complex and Vicinity and the Dinkelspiel Station Lane Pedestrian Pathway evaluation; and provide relevant feedback and direction to staff regarding potential parking area and pedestrian walkway improvements.
11. 11 Recommendation : Staff recommends that the City Council review the results of the Middlefield Road Traffic Signal/High Intensity Activated Crosswalk (HAWK) Beacon/Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacon (RRFB) Warrant Study at Watkins Avenue and Fair Oaks Lane/Palmer Lane, provide feedback and direction to staff regarding next steps.
12. 12 Recommendation : It is recommended that the Councilreview the staff report and consider adoption of the attached amendment to the employment agreement between the Town of Atherton and George Rodericks.
