  1. 1 Recommendation : It is recommended that the City Council approve Bill and Claims for June 2025 in the amount of $4,535,720
  2. 2 Recommendation : It is recommended that the Council approve minutes for June 18, June 23, and July 2 2025 meetings.
  3. 3 Recommendation : It is recommended that the Council accept work and authorize recording of a Notice of Completion for the Atherton Station Rehabilitation Project, Number 56085.
  4. 4 Recommendation : It is recommended that the Council adopt the attached Ordinance amending two sections of Chapter 3.16 relating to Purchasing, including Section 3.16.240 relating to requirements for contracting public works projects, and Section 3.16.280 relating to public works project bids in excess of maximum authority.
  5. 5 Recommendation : It is recommended that the Council award the construction contract for 2025 Crack Seal and Slurry Seal Project, project number 56092 to the lowest responsive bidder, Graham Contractors, Inc. of San Jose for $248,425 and authorize change orders up to $25,000; direct the City Attorney to prepare the contract; and authorize the City Manager to execute the contract on behalf of the Town.
  6. 6 Recommendation : It is recommended that the Council authorize the City Manager to accept a public art donation and execute a contract with Dan Friegang.
  7. 7 Recommendation : Approval of the agreement between JJ Kane Associates, Inc. and the Town of Atherton for auction services.
  8. 8 Recommendation : It is recommended that the City Council conduct the public hearing, deny the appeal, and uphold the decision of the Planning Commission to approve the Variance and Tree Protection Zone Exception requests at 94 Palmer Lane to allow construction of a single-family dwelling within portions of the required front and rear setbacks and construction of a gravel driveway within portions of the tree protection zone, based on the findings outlined below.
  9. 9 Recommendation : Review one applicant for a vacancy on the Environmental Programs Committee (EPC). There are presently 3 vacant seats eligible for appointment. The term expiration dates are June 30, 2027, June 30, 2028, and June 30, 2029.
  10. 10 Recommendation : Staff recommends that the City Council adopt a Resolution establishing a Residential Permit Parking Program on Maple Avenue (between Station Lane and El Camino Real) and on Ashfield Road (between the Town Center and El Camino Real), restricting on-street parking to permit holders during specified hours.
  11. 11 Recommendation : It is recommended that the Council review the recommendations from the Park and Recreation Committee regarding the pickleball program at the Park; and provide direction regarding changes to the pickleball program including potential restriping of the courts, permanent facilities, changes in hours, use, and instructional use of the courts.
  12. 12 Recommendation : It is recommended the Council provide direction regarding a request from the Senior Task Force for financial support to market and advertise a Senior Seminar that will take place at Holbrook-Palmer Park on September 27, 2025.
