Park and Recreation Committee Meeting

1. 2 Staff will provide an update on the projects, including review of the two restroom models that have been reviewed by the Subcommittee, and The Committee will have the opportunity to provide input on the preferred model, layout and details.
2. 3 Staff provide will an update on the proposed FY25/26 – 29/30 Capital Improvement Program as reviewed in the City Council's Study Session on May 7, 2025, particularly as it relates to Holbrook-Palmer Park. Such items include a proposed donation to convert the clay tennis court to a hard court and permanent conversion of Court 1 to a pickleball court, and a refresh of the Park Master Plan.
3. 4 Chair Keh will provide an update to the Committee regarding meetings, quorum, and Brown Act requirements.
4. 5 The Committee will discuss various issues related to parking in the park and potential means to discourage/prevent parking in unauthorized areas. The Committee can discuss and recommend improvements, including signage, obstructions and/or other means to address parking issues.
5. 6 Staff will update on the recent flooring improvements Jennings Pavilion and Main House.
