1. 1 Recommendation : Approve minutes for December 18, 2024 and January 8, 2025.
2. 2 Recommendation : It is recommended that the City Council approve the Bills and Claims for November 2024 in the amount of $1,695,376
3. 3 Recommendation : It is recommended that the City Council adopt a Resolution authorizing the City Manager to execute a Primary Grant Agreement with the San Mateo County Transportation Authority to be eligible to receive Measures A and W grants over the next 10 years; and certifies that any funds awarded by the TA will be used to supplement existing funds for program activities, and will not replace existing funds or resources; and authorizes the City Manager to take any other actions necessary to give effect to this resolution.
4. 4 Recommendation : It is recommended that the Council award the construction contract for the Lloyden Park Sidewalk Restoration Project to the lowest responsive bidder, J.J.R. Construction, Inc. of San Mateo in the amount of $92,356 and authorize change orders up to $15,000; direct the City Attorney to prepare the contract; and authorize the City Manager to execute the contract on behalf of the Town.
5. 5 Recommendation : It is recommended that the Council authorize a refund of 50% of the Variance application fee.
6. 6 Recommendation : It is recommended that the Council receive and file the Mayor's City Council Committee Assignments and concur with the assignment to the Refuse Services Standing Committee.
7. 7 Recommendation : Staff recommends that the City Council adopt the ordinance amending Chapter 15.19 of the Atherton Municipal Code to align with the 2022 California Green Building Standards Code, incorporating local modifications that enhance electric-ready requirements for new construction and major alterations.
8. 8 Recommendation : It is recommended that the Council authorize the City Attorney to prepare and City Manager to execute a professional services agreement with Alta Planning + Design, Inc. for the Town of Atherton Bicycle and Pedestrian Master Plan Update in the total amount not to exceed $250,000, including contingency. It is further recommended that the City Council defer implementation of the Selby Lane Bicycle Lanes project.
9. 9 Recommendation : It is recommended that the Council provide feedback and direction to staff regarding the design direction for the Holbrook-Palmer Park Playground Project.
