A Consideration for a Tree Protection Zone Exception (PTPZ24-00005) for an athletic court (pickleball court) at 60 Middlefield Road (APN 060-210-010) within the R1-A zoning district and developed as a single-family dwelling. The PTPZ requests Planning Commission consideration for an athletic court that is 5.8x from one (1) 17-inch Coastal Live Oak. This proposal has been determined to be categorically exempt from further environmental review pursuant to AMC Section 15.32.100 and CEQA Section 15304 (Minor Alterations to Land) and 15311 (Accessory Structures)
  5. B Consideration for a Tree Protection Zone Exception (PTPZ24-00004) for an addition to an existing single-family dwelling at 168 Heather Drive ( APN 061-163-080) , within the R1-A zone. The PTPZ requests Planning Commission consideration for an addition to an existing single-family residence that is 4.5x from one (1) 92-inch Coastal Redwood. This proposal has been determined to be categorically exempt from further environmental review pursuant to AMC Section 15.32.100 and CEQA Section 15304 (Minor Alterations to Land).
  6. C Request for a Side Setback Variance (VAR24-0002) for an athletic court within the required side setback area at 71 Selby Lane (APN 059-302-050) and within the R1-A zone. The project involves an athletic court (basketball court) that is setback 4 feet 5 inches from the western side property line and therefore, requires a variance from Section 17.40.040(A). This proposal has been determined to be categorically exempt from further environmental review pursuant to: CEQA Section 15311 (Accessory Structures).
  7. 7 Planning Commission decisions are appealable by any aggrieved person to the City Council within 10 days of the date of the decision.
