The topic of the presentation shall be the responsibilities invested in the WIB, the strategic planning process they are currently engaged in, how county staff works in partnership with the WIB and the roles the Board of Supervisors should play in supporting the WIB and workforce investment endeavors countywide. Presenters shall be the new and former chairs of the WIB, the director of the Community and Workforce Development Department (the department that works directly with the WIB) and the director of the Economic Development Department. The latter director should be prepared to discuss how the work of the WIB aligns with the recently revised Economic Development Strategic Plan.
